When you authenticate a file through Audrie, anyone who receives it can verify – instantly and for free – that it's genuine, unaltered, and issued by you.

What authentication means
When you authenticate a file through Audrie, you create a permanent, tamper-evident record that:
- —Confirms the file existed in this exact form at this specific time
- —Binds that record to your verified identity
- —Allows anyone to verify it, for free, forever – no account required
The file itself is not stored. No document content is retained. Only a cryptographic fingerprint and your identity reference.
What recipients see
When someone verifies one of your authenticated files, they see:
- —Authentic — the file has not been modified since you authenticated it
- —Your name, role, and organisation — verified against a government or professional register
- —The date and time you authenticated it
- —Your current status — active or revoked
- —Your verification tier — Enterprise Verified or Standard
If you are a qualified accountant or lawyer, recipients also see your professional body and membership status – adding a higher trust tier to your authentication.
How to get started
Step 1 – Register
Go to app.audrie.io and register with your email address. You'll receive a verification link.
Step 2 – Verify your identity
Complete a one-time identity check through our government-grade IDV provider. The process takes approximately two minutes and includes a government document check and liveness test. The $5 one-time fee covers the cost of identity verification. There is no ongoing subscription fee for the Starter tier (30 authentications/month).
Step 3 – Set up your passkey
Register a passkey on your device. This is how you log in and how you confirm each authentication – using your fingerprint, Face ID, or device PIN.
Step 4 – Authenticate your first file
Upload any file. Review it. Tap "Issue Authentication." A biometric challenge confirms the action. Your authenticated file is ready to download and share.
Who can authenticate
Company directors and authorised employees
Your identity and authority are confirmed against ASIC (Australia) or the equivalent government register. Standard onboarding tier.
Qualified accountants and lawyers
Your identity and professional standing are confirmed against your professional body's register (CPA Australia, Law Society, CA ANZ, and equivalent). This unlocks the Independent Authentication tier – a higher trust level appropriate for client documents.
Enterprise (ASX 200 and large private companies)
In addition to the standard remote IDV process, an Audrie representative verifies your nominated authenticators in person. This establishes Enterprise Verified status – the highest trust tier, displayed on all verification results.
