Website Terms of Use

Effective date: 21 April 2026

By accessing or using the audrie.io website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About These Terms

1.1 Who We Are

This website is operated by Audrie Pty Ltd (ACN 695 896 363) (“Audrie”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at hello@audrie.io.

1.2 What These Terms Cover

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the audrie.io website, including all pages, content, resource articles, the document verification endpoint, and the contact form (collectively, the “Website”).

These Terms of Use do not govern use of the Audrie application at app.audrie.io. If you register for an account or use the Platform to authenticate or verify documents as a registered user, your use is governed by the Audrie End User Licence Agreement, available at audrie.io/eula.

1.3 Other Applicable Policies

These Terms of Use should be read alongside our Privacy Policy at audrie.io/privacy, which explains how we collect and handle personal information on this Website.

1.4 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version is always available at audrie.io/website-terms. The effective date at the top of this document indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Using This Website

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use this Website for lawful purposes, including to:

  • learn about the Audrie platform and its services
  • use the document verification endpoint to verify whether a document has been authenticated through Audrie
  • submit an enquiry through the contact form
  • read resource and educational content published on the Website

2.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • (a)use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • (b)use automated tools (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts) to access, copy, or extract content from the Website, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent
  • (c)attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its underlying systems
  • (d)transmit to the Website any content that is malicious, harmful, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes any third party's rights
  • (e)use the Website in a way that could damage, overload, or impair its availability or performance for other users
  • (f)submit false or misleading information through the contact form or verification endpoint
  • (g)use the Website to scrape, aggregate, or compile data about Audrie's services for the purpose of building a competing product

2.3 Document Verification Endpoint

The document verification functionality on this Website is provided as a free public service. It allows any person to submit a document and receive an instant result indicating whether that document has been authenticated through Audrie, and if so, the identity and status of the Authenticator.

Use of the verification endpoint is subject to the following conditions:

  • (a)you must provide a valid email address and complete the CAPTCHA presented at the time of submission
  • (b)you must not submit documents that you are not entitled to submit — for example, documents subject to confidentiality obligations where uploading would constitute a breach
  • (c)each verification event is logged in Audrie's audit trail, including your email address, the document hash, the timestamp, and the result returned. By submitting a document for verification, you consent to this logging. We do not store the document itself
  • (d)a Verification Result confirms whether the document matches an Authentication Record in the Audrie register. It does not constitute a guarantee as to the accuracy, legal effect, or completeness of the document's contents. You are responsible for any decision made in reliance on a Verification Result

2.4 Contact Form

If you submit an enquiry through the contact form, you consent to Audrie using your contact details to respond to your enquiry. We will not use those details for marketing without your separate consent. See our Privacy Policy for further detail.
